UAE Requirements
TDRA Compliance

Additional requirements for UAE users in compliance with TDRA regulations

1. Purpose

WBsender is a WhatsApp messaging and campaign management platform that allows businesses to send personalized messages, schedule campaigns, manage contacts, and track delivery results — all without requiring the official WhatsApp Business API.

Policy Purpose: This Acceptable Use Policy ensures our platform is used legally, responsibly, and in compliance with WhatsApp's Terms of Service, applicable laws, and carrier/operator policies.

2. Core Principles

Obtain explicit, verifiable consent before sending any message

Clearly identify your business in every message

Respect opt-out requests immediately

Avoid harmful, abusive, or illegal content

Use WBsender features (bulk send, scheduling, templates, media, AI moderation) only for permitted purposes

3. Prohibited Uses

Send spam or unsolicited messages — including to purchased, scraped, or third-party lists without consent

Violate WhatsApp policies — including automation that breaches WhatsApp's Commerce or Business rules

Send illegal, abusive, or harmful content — such as harassment, threats, scams, malware, hate speech, or any content involving minors

Infringe on intellectual property — including using copyrighted images, videos, or text without authorization

Bypass technical limits — such as message rate limits, anti-spam protections, or number bans by using multiple SIMs/devices

Harvest personal data unlawfully — including scraping contacts or storing sensitive personal information without legal basis

Conduct impersonation or fraud — pretending to be another business, individual, or organization

4. Consent & Opt-Out

Consent must be clear, documented, and auditable. Keep records of how and when it was obtained

Every campaign must include an opt-out instruction (e.g., "Reply STOP to unsubscribe")

Opt-out requests must be honored immediately, and no further messages should be sent unless fresh consent is given

5. Content Standards

Be truthful and accurate — no false claims or misleading offers

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies

Avoid sensitive or regulated content (financial advice, medical claims, political campaigning) unless legally permitted and approved

Be respectful and culturally appropriate for the target audience

6. Frequency & Timing

Use WBsender's smart rate limiting to avoid triggering WhatsApp's spam detection

Avoid sending messages at inappropriate hours in the recipient's local time unless explicitly consented

Excessive frequency that causes complaints or spam reports is prohibited

7. Data Protection & Security

Collect only the minimum necessary personal data

Secure your WBsender account with strong passwords and keep QR session codes private

Do not share your connected WhatsApp account with unauthorized persons

Report any security breach to WBsender immediately

8. Enforcement Actions

Warning — for minor or first-time issues

Temporary restrictions — such as reduced sending limits

Suspension — for repeated or serious violations

Termination — for severe cases, including illegal content, fraud, or abuse

Legal action — if required by law or to protect our platform and users

9. UAE-Specific Requirements

Follow TDRA (Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority) anti-spam and OTT messaging rules

Comply with Etisalat & du policies — including explicit opt-in, clear sender identification, and opt-out handling

Avoid content that violates UAE laws, cultural norms, or public morals

10. Reporting Abuse Information Required

Your contact information

The message content

Sender's number

Date and time of receipt

10. Reporting Abuse
